Air Defence Tech Alliance for Ukraine
A Strategic Alliance for Scalable Defence Innovation
The Alliance aligns with both national defence imperatives and broader European initiatives such as Sky Shield, Eastern Shield, and the Baltic Drone Wall. Its primary mission is to enhance defence forces with cutting-edge technological solutions to counter hostile drone threats.
Our Key Objectives
Air Defence Tech Alliance for Ukraine builds on a shared commitment to help Ukraine, close critical capability gaps on ultra-short-range air defence (USHORAD) and establishing a European-Ukrainian defence industrial partnership capable of rapid innovation and scalable production.
The Alliance was formed in Kyiv and announced during EU-UA Defence tech Summit in Brussels on 12.05.2025.
The forming Alliance happened during the official visit of Estonian Defence Minister Mr. Hanno Pevkur, who was accompanied by a delegation from the Estonian defence industry. The event was attended by Ukraine’s Government representatives and General Eero Kinnunen, Estonian Defence Attachee to Ukraine.

Industry Leaders’ Statements

Ukraine needs innovative turn-key solutions, and Europe needs experience from the battlefield. Defending critical infrastructure and intercepting drones is one of the core capabilities Ukraine is building this year. Together with our Ukrainian partners and Weibel Scientific, we are developing and soon manufacturing systems that not only address real operational needs but can also be rapidly deployed and scaled. We’ve found promising partners in Ukraine — for example, Gauss Glide, specialized in kamikaze drones, and EW Spectrum, focused on electronic warfare, both start-up's who have battle-tested prototypes and direct user feedback. This Alliance represents a new model of agile, multinational defence cooperation — one that integrates and scales new technologies in real-time, which enables to integrate and mass-manufacture Ukrainian interceptor and EW technologies for Ukraine.
— Jaanus Tamm, CEO, DefSecIntel Solutions
Weibel Scientific, a global leader in advanced radar technology, brings unmatched precision sensing capabilities to the Alliance. Their X-band radars will be integrated with DefSecIntel’s EIRSHIELD and interceptor systems into a turn-key C-UAS solution capable of effectively detecting, identifying, and neutralizing hostile aerial vehicles." “This is not just about technology; it’s about making an impact where it matters most — on the battlefield. We are proud to support Ukraine by integrating our radar systems into an operational ecosystem that is fast, effective, and built for modern warfare.
— Peter Røpke, CEO, Weibel Scientific
